When you should consider an Indoor Air Quality Test:

To perform the test, the inspector will take a number of air samples in the house. The air samples will tell you if you have hidden moisture or leaks that are producing spores that may represent a health risk to you and your family. The number of air samples that will be taken inside the home is based on the size of the home. A sample is needed for each 600-800 square fee. A 1600 square foot home will require three air quality samples – two in the house and one from the outside. An outdoor sample will always be taken to compare the inside samples to a baseline or control sample. Larger homes will require more air quality samples. An Indoor Air Quality report will be issued in an easy to read, detailed report.
